This New Britain Bed Mill exclusively bores laminated glass, used as light filters in hundreds of products. Unfortunately, Newport Corporation’s bed mill control was out of date, rendering the machine useless.
In order to get back up and running, Newport reached out to MachMotion for a control upgrade. They opted for self-installation on their straight-forward knee mill kit, then brought us on site to complete the setup. By upgrading with MachMotion, Newport was able to expend minimum effort and achieve maximum result!
After a successful install, this New Britain Bed Mill is back in the business of making lenses used in the COVID-19 quick test instruments and is looking forward to their next MachMotion upgrade. We thank them for their essential services and for partnering with us!
