Yes. Scale feedback and dual-loop control can be supported on qualifying mill applications where direct position feedback is needed in addition to motor feedback.

Q: Does MachMotion support probing on mills?

Yes. Probing can be integrated for part setup, position finding, and other measurement workflows, depending on the machine and application.

Q: Can MachMotion convert a manual knee mill to CNC?

Currently, MachMotion does not have a standard upgrade path for manual knee mills to convert to CNC. They often require major mechanical upgrades, such as adding ball screws which can outweigh the cost of the machine replacement value.
