The MachMotion CNC control allows the operator to easily teach the start and stop grind positions using the wireless pendant MPG and teach buttons.
The Tschudin PL24 OD Grinder was upgraded with a MachMotion conversational control. This machine was retrofitted by Usach/Hardinge in 2014 for a customer in the medical industry. The customer became very frustrated a few years later because Hardinge no longer supported the Usach HMI with Fanuc servos and motion control. Not only was there no support, programing a part was very cumbersome because the controller was more suited for a Lathe and did not have any grind cycles or dress cycles.
